What Premier Access Ultimate actually is
Premier Access is the paid replacement for the old free FastPass. Bought per ride it is charged individually and priced by demand; Ultimate is the all-in version for a day. Bundling it with admission means you are committing to the queue-skip weeks before you can see what the queues will be like.
The case for it, and against
For it: one day, peak season, a fixed list of rides, and no appetite for losing three hours to queues. Against: you can buy Premier Access on the day, in the app, after looking at the actual waits — and on a quiet Tuesday in November you would not buy it at all. Committing in advance removes information you would otherwise have.
What it does not solve
It does not get you in earlier. The hour before general opening belongs to resort hotel guests through Extra Magic Time, and that hour is worth more than any queue-skip because the rides are genuinely empty rather than merely faster to board.
Who should buy it
Visitors with one day, in a busy period, who would rather pay than plan. Anyone with two days, or visiting off-peak, will do better with the plain ticket and the option to add Premier Access on the day if the waits justify it.
